The Introduction to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a shortened training program that includes an introduction to good manufacturing practices, information on maintaining product quality, the scope of GMP rules, a section on cleaning and sanitation, a look into proper documentation, Validation, Data Integrity and concludes with a summary.
The course will explore a list of essential packaging and production controls, review of guidelines describing the proper way to execute GMP records, examines the GMP personal hygiene requirements, clarifies the key product quality attributes, and offers explanations of why companies implement GMP.
Training Objectives
This course defines and implements GMPs while demonstrating how to:
- Integrate them throughout the manufacturing process by following standard operating procedures;
- Meet quality control requirements;
- Reconstruct GMPs and their scope of application.
- Know the basic vocabulary and rules of GMPs and how to use them appropriately.
- Understand the challenges of Quality Assurance in the pharmaceutical sector.
Target Audience
- Anyone involved in the pharmaceutical industry or related sectors such as biotechnology and natural health products, who wishes to learn the fundamentals of GMP or update their basic knowledge.
- Training is also available upon request.
- Training can be tailored to a company’s specific needs.

Takeaway
Additional training documentation and certificates will be provided after the exam. Please note that a minimum score of 80% is required before the training certificate should be issued.
